Welcome to my little corner of the crafting world.
My name is Kelli. I am a wife, mother of two handsome boys, educator, and artisan. My love of crafts began when I was about 8 years old. As I would wait for my mother to pick me up from school, a friend and a nun put a crochet needle and some yarn in my hand. Ever since that moment I have been cruising the crafting world with a vengeance.
Although I create through several mediums, I dedicate this blog to my love of wire work and beading. There is nothing more therapeutic than manipulating the raw materials of wire and beads to create beautiful and unique pieces of jewelry. Sometimes my mind just goes into information overload when I look at my huge stash of beads and wire. My mind starts to stutter as I get lost in all of the amazing possibilities. Will this gorgeous Venetian bead look better paired with silver, copper, or gold? How can I make these lovely Czech beads “pop”? What type of effect will I get if I mix wooden beads with glass beads?
I own many books and magazines that provide me with amazing inspiration. I am unable to copy anything I see because…well, copying something doesn’t work well with my firey, Aries spirit of creating something unique. I see something amazing and lovely, but I see past the project and create something for Kelli.
For years I have created unique jewelry for me and my mother. People would comment on our jewelry. They would want to know where we bought it and the cost. When we would declare the items were handmade by me, we would encounter looks and comments that were complimentary and sometimes incredulous. Later, I began making jewelry for other family members and friends.
I love beading and wire work. This blog is not only a dedication to that love, but an extension of that therapy…creative outlet.

Hi ,
Love this design. I do wire work also, mainly with healing gems although I have worked with some really beautiful handblown beads. Love your blog! Vickie
