Who knew that paper would be so important to me? I was that classmate of yours in school that rifled through the stack of papers to be handed down looking for that pristine piece of paper. I would buy that pack of construction paper from the local five and dime store just because. Who could resist making the perfect paper airplane with surgical sharp creases? Do you remember rolling tissue paper into a small ball and sticking it into glue to create an image of a flower, sun, happy face for an (insert holiday) gift in grammar school? Then there was Mrs. Ramos who showed me how to make a beautiful paper carnation with a stack of tissue paper and a stapler.
The wonderful memories that started my love of paper crafts.
Later I got into rubber stamping by accident. As a teacher, I wanted to stamp interesting images on my students’ papers. Later, wanting to stamping interesting images on homework morphed into stamping wonderful, artistic creations. I think buying the Dr. Spock rubber stamp 15 years ago for no reason started my rubber stamping craze. I even sold Stampin’ Up products for a while. I was my best customer.
Anyway, I love paper crafts and I want to share that love with the world.
